    Hello!
I am trying to find out a bit more about the passionflower Constance Elliott, as I believe it is an evergreen, vigorous grower. Anyone out there got one? Is the foliage quite dense(something I really want to know)? Is it fragile? What are its likes/dislikes?
    Many thanks,
    Suzie

I was hoping to be able to tell you from experience as I bought a plant of Constance elliott from of all places Morrisons last year.
kept it in the greenhouse all winter in order to give it a good start this year.

It turned out to be caerulea so I'm not very pleased about that.

As I understand it, its as hardy as caerulea being a seedling from that plant, and a similar growth habit.

What a let-down, Pete. I was so looking forward to your tell-all experiences with Constance Elliott :D.

If dense foliage is required, I'm not sure that a passionflower will do the job. I've seen quite a lot of rather sparse-looking specimens with bare, wiry stems.
