Explained Absence!

    Just a very quickie to let you know that I have not deserted GC altogether, just temporarily been distracted by my new kitchen!

    It has been 5 weeks now since it was demolished, and 4 and a half since work was (almost) complete. I have not settled in yet, as I want to get it painted, otherwise, I might just live with it! So every spare moment is spent masking and preparing and painting etc!

    I will be back once it is done, and promise photos of it's miraculous transformation!
