Just outside Nantwich in Cheshire is Snugburys Farm. It has it's own Dairy Herd and makes it's branded Ice Cream from the cows produce, and it sells very well as it really is delicious. But every year they make a Straw Statue to symbolise what's happening in the year. Last year it was a Cyclist to represent the Olympics.......... and this year it's....... Usually the Hay Statues are stationary but this year Snugburys have got ambitious and made the top rotate and also given it a voice saying "exterminate, exterminate, exterminate!!" Very clever idea and very clever in constructing it. The place gets visitors by the hundreds and it's a great way to sell ice cream!
A cyclist that is just about to be reminded what it feels like to go right over the handlebars and smash face first into the floor, and a the easily defeated dalek ever, he'll probably set himself alight if he does actually try to exterminate In all seriousness though, most impressive work.
Actually, Clueless, you're supposed to do a bit of creative thinking!! The ring is the track and they combined the two so if you turned the Cyclist 90 degrees towards you he's racing on the track, just that they had to show both otherwise you wouldn't see the track. It is on a small rise above the A51 main highway so motorists driving by see it and it gives it maximum publicity.!!
