              Eugh I hate my own photos. I never have liked them. I'm very critical of myself, but I am not of others-wish i wasnt so hard on myself-but I'm not so tough on myself now I'm getting older....if u get what I mean. I never used to smile as had crooked teeth and used to wear glasses as was blind as a bat. And had spotty skin for years. Skins cleared up, had my teeth done and my eyes lasered lol....so i will just about smile now for photos. Lol.

              I cant stand this pouting lark people do on selfies.

              Call me mad but i can quite happily sit and pull daft faces infront of a mirror and make myself laugh......now i sound insane lolol

                Nah, you sound human! I am a wee tad older than you (I think!), and I can totally understand. No disrespect to our elders, but we grew up in an age where image was everything (I am 41, so my formative years were in the 80's), and truthfully I think it has gotten even worse as time has gone on.

                Selfies, in my day, meant a whole different thing - and usually were associated with going blind! :biggrin:

                Trust us, you and Mr Snorky make one hell of a handsome couple, and you really do need to stop giving yourself such a hard time. Oh, and if Mr Snorky ever forgets how lucky he is, you drop me a PM :biggrin:

                  Ah thats nice FC. Yeah I worry about my nieces and how theyre growing up these days. I tell them not to give a stuff what people think or say about how they look (even though they are both beautiful anyway).

                  Mr snorky is quite image conscious bless him...he was a big lad and bullied at school and after uni weighed about 20stone until one day he decided he didnt want to be big anymore. He dieted and exercised and lost it all in a year. You couldnt tell he was ever overweight now-je is very careful about what he eats and how much he exercises to the extent it is obsessive but I can understand that from where he has come from. He's a good healthy weight now.
