Family Bargains "Bargains"

If any one has a store called Family Bargains near them they have some good stuff in cheap......

Our local store is new, opening just before Christmas, it replaced our Focus and is a huge shop. They have just started stocking up with gardening stuff, some is the usual bargain shop cheap and nasty items, like plastic garden gnomes etc, BUT ours also has a large range of plants for sale (those in cardboard tube), several climbing roses, hibiscus, weigela, spirea, deutzia, philadelphus, honeysuckle, tayberry, raspberry, gooseberry (red & green varieties), pontentilla etc, all these are only 99p each!!! and for the time being are healthy, they are pruned back quite hard but everything I looked at had nice healthy looking buds swelling and when I scraped back some of the bark on stuff they were all nice and green underneath.

They also have a large range of seed potatoes, onions etc and some spring/summer bulbs, again all 99p a packet....:D

 

I had to google Family Bargains as I had not heard of them and they are part of the 99p group so in between the usual rubbish some good bargains to be had and we do have one of those!
