I took some pics for you today but photobucket is doing maintenance ... I've got them in there but can't get them out!

Hopefully I can post later. [IMG]

I'm glad I'm where I am and you are where you are because you'll kill me ...

This is indicative of how it's looking all over the Algarve at the moment and it's only just starting to bloom.

There are four stork nests by the second photo and a pair was circling overhead but, even though the top was down on the car, I couldn't get a good shot ... as normal, most of my pics are taken from a moving vehicle. :D

Did the pink Evening Primrose survive, pete?

Scotkat, thanks but couldn't be bothered to re-load elsewhere. [IMG]

I could have something similar in a couple of years maybe :D Are you sure its frost hardy?
It must be quite rare as in pic 2 it seems to be well protected

Not sure yet on the evening primrose, its still showing a bit of green but is not looking good.

I think one of the brachychitons is making some new growth.

Evening, pete. It's hit and miss frost hardy, down to zone 9. Apparently it's made it's way to the UK now and is naturalising in the southwest but doesn't bloom as profusely as here. :D

Yes, I've got tiny new growth on my flame trees also. [IMG]
