Farfugium Giganteum

    I`ve been looking around for a farfugium giganteum but no luck , except for seeds.......has anyone ever managed to grow them from seed?

    Sal - I don't know. I even had to Google the name Farfugium Giganteum as I don't know it.

    But my inclination would be to have a go at growing it from seed. I am a great believer in growing from seed, as the range of seeds for sale must be 10 or 100 times greater than that of plants for sale. Plus seed is fairly cheap, so you have lost very little if you have a complete failure.

    The giganteum seems to be a naturally occuring variety, so the seeds should come true.

    Thank you Peter , I`ve been looking deeper into it and find feww more information on the net.........like I was suspecting , not an easy to abtain from seeds and really slow grower .......but find some plant at amulree .
