    Strongy those are magnificent the 3rd one of the puffin about to go in his nest with food is the best I have seen, thanks for sharing.

    fantastic photos strongyloden, not boring me would love to see more, when i went to bamburgh castle i was on the beach could see the farne islands but even with the zoom they were still too far, now that i have seen these pics wouldnt mind a trip over there, its only an hours or so drive from me.

    I can just only echo what has been said above, strongy. I think Puffins are adorable and the baby seals are huggable.

    I think the Farne Islands are in Scotland or thereabouts, near the Borders, Comber gardener.

    they are closer to berwick, before the scottish borders on the coast comber gardener an island in the sea in between seahouses and bamburgh castle, you catch a trip boat from seahouses, northumberland.

    Thank you for that info LoL and LRosa. Will bear that in mind next time I am planning a trip to Scotland. I think there is a very good nursery next to there too. We have puffins in Northern Ireland - mostly in Rathlin Island where I have seen them. They really are as gorgeous in real life, as they look in the photos.

    I first thought they were taken in the Faroe islands, but then I realized they are from Farne islands...

    what great pictures,in our village we have puffin court,tern court,sanderling court,dunlin court,plover court,and fulmar court.
