I wouldn't loose too much sleep over it, they do droop when it's cold. Hardy as hell!

existing leaves will perk up when it warms up ... amazing plants

plant in semi shade and feed with some liquid fertilizer from time to time in summer, and they look really good (dark green)

many don't like them as they plant them in the wrong place (full sun), then some leaves turn yellow

I always try and include them in new landscapes ... sadly, they were cheap 2 years ago, now prices have risen (2 years ago places like homebase used to sell small ones for £3-£4 .... last time I looked, they were selling for £18 each

I run a cleaning business (domestic/commercial) .... one of my clients has one in a large pot in a dark bathroom

it is huge ... nearly touching the ceiling .... the lady says they never water it .... it lives off the steam produced by the hot bathwater everyday (4 kids that bath every day)

looks very heathy to me and leaves are huge

£18 Each :yahoo:I am growing some from seed - they germinate very easily. Currently they are about 3" tall . I think it will be next autumn before they are big enough to plant out . How do they do as house plants ? As mentioned above.
I still have about 20 seeds left ( I think ) if anyone would like them PM me your addy.

When i bought mine they were bought as house plants....2.99 some time ago...they out grew their spot so i put them in the garden and have been thriving.....:dbgrtmb: i'm sure i read somewhere that there are 'outdoor and indoor' varieties and not to get them confused but i chanced it anyway.
