A golden star, and black, white and green in a soft medley with each other. Very smooth.

    It's again the Cucurbitaceae.

Once more the Cucurbitaceae, and my 4 diopter macro lens.

    Hi,

I like planting, and I like professional photography. For these photos I have used a 4-diopter macro lens. Hope you like the results...

Some more macro photos of the Cucurbitaceae...

This is the Rucola I am growing. My house has two platforms (or terraces) on the roof, this is the larger platform I am using for growing these plants.

A highly fragrant Datura metel with its huge blossoms, which grows here all around.

    - Big aloe plant (I think) in front of one of Jimmy Cliff's estates.
    - Crab on the small mini island Lime Cay.
    - A lizard on the 100 meter island Lime Cay.
    - Another lizard I saw some days ago on my roof terrace. He rested on a broad palm leaf.
    - Interesting bug.

Some photos of the Tradescantia pallida...

    1. The ordered seeds from South Africa have finally arrived...
    2. Jamaican fish.
    3. Centipede ("Forty-Leg")
    4. Hummingbird ("Doctorbird").
    5. A beautiful blossom (forgot the name).

    1. My "Lithops Breeding Box" (Lithops = "Living Stones")
    2. Tiny Lithops seedling
    3. Rare mutation - a red Lithops

    - 3x Balanophoraceae (a very rare plant which behaves like a mushroom)
    - 2x Rain Forest

:thumb: Wow Sven some very unusual plants you have there as well as some real beauties..!! :thumb:

    Fantastic photos, Hirnsausen :gnthb:

We have some of those Daturas in our Florida garden, a pity that the blooms only last a day.

I just love the little crab, the colourful fish (it would make a lovely picture for in the kitchen), and the first Rain Forest pic has a wonderful dreamlike quality about it. I enjoyed all of the pics but these are my favourites. Thanks for sharing.

BTW, I had a good laugh about your name. :lollol:

    Marley, thanks a lot!

Kedi-Gato, your Daturas bloom for only one day? Wow! Those Daturas here have their blooms lasting for three days or longer! I never knew that some Datura last that short. Interesting.

I have one more thread here where I ask to identify some plants. Help is needed.
