What is your favourite cooling down system in very hot weather?

Mine has to be spraying myself with cold water (included mini spray bottle always with me) and drink a lot of freezing cold fizzy water.

I normally check what the weather's going to be like the day before, and then I put a drink in the freezer so I can use it to put on my head :yess:

Close the curtains. Open windows only on the shaded side of the house. Damp cloth or kitchen paper towel on the back of the neck, cool drinks and a long tepid shower (or several).

I also like to avoid the sun, so keep my bedroom curtains closed to keep it cool and then return outside when it rains :yess:

I stay out of it as best I can, shut the curtains, open windows, splash my face with cold water - A LOT and drink plenty of cold drinks.

At night when its really humid I lie there with a towel soaked in cold water on me, I look stupid but it's very refreshing :thumb:

We have outdoor shower system for cleaning equipment.
Standing under that today was the best part of my day.

Also like Kyle I learned the value of freezing water over night. I use an insulated bottle carrier which goes over the shoulder like a back pack. The water stays cool all day.
