Is it wise to start watering yet in Leicester ? or is it still too cold.

Alternatively should I be digging in any powder feeds into the soil on hedging plants

Hi there - if you are talking about the garden - it really shouldn't need any form of watering at the moment - there should be plenty of moisture in the soil. In respect of feeding - that depends on the soil your gardening on - if its sandy loam, it could benefit from a layer of well rotted manure now But if its clay, again you shouldn't need to feed.

Containers are a whole different thing. Tell us a bit more about your garden, and why you need to water and feed and perhaps we can be more help
