Feeding time at Leeds Castle

The scramble for lunch is worse than the scrum in the rowdiest fast food outlet. The pigeons are the most uncouth of the bunch; they are not averse to landing on their rivals and giving them a duffing over, if it means they get to eat the good bits. The black swan feels it's all a bit beneath him ... . The funny thing is, leafy Leeds castle has tons of town pigeons, whereas here in the town we have wood pigeons.
