    Now some feeds cause leafy growth so its best not to feed in the winter and some encourage root growth but as my memory is pants :dh: I can't remember which when. I have got a seaweed feed but not sure when to do that either :cnfs::cnfs::cnfs::cnfs:

    I don;t know much about feeds - I do know that the general advice is to feed the soil and use feeds to rescue or bring along a plant.,

    I'm concentrating on my soil - hence the green manures mentioned in aother section - and digging compost in etc.

    For autumn feeds use one with a low nitrogen content, pref a high ish potash feed.
