This is my second year of GYO. And I think it is fair to say I am more relaxed, less anal and more 'make it up as I go along'. However I am starting to stress that the garden is 3-4 weeks behind last year. Strawberries, mangetout, courgettes, corn - everything.

Will I run out if season?

Not helped by the slugs eating my courgettes and butternut squash (going to garden centre to buy seedlings as I think it is too late to sow) and the neighbours cats using my raised beds as a litter tray. Beets, turnip, cabbage, swede - all dug up as only just poking through.

Will also buy seedlings from garden centre and buy netting as well.

Feeling disheartened. The blinking weather isn't helping my mood or my crops!

What can I still sow? Live in Newcastle upon Tyne. I have plastic grow homes, not glass greenhouses. I do have a south facing back garden should the sun ever come out again.
