Feijoa Tress

    Being an avid fan of Feijoas I would love to grow some, I know they do grow in the UK but what I have been unable to determine is if they produce fruit here, hoping someone can answer this

    I`ve had one in my garden for over 10 years, though it flowers it has never fruited. Not sure if they need a pollinator.:dbgrtmb:

    They do need another plant to pollinate.

    I grew mine about 20yrs ago from seed.

    The fruit only ripens in warmer summers, and then its late October or November.
    Not over impressed with the fruit, I grow it mainly for the flowers which can give quite a show in mid summer.
