    Happy to pay or swap for bits from my garden.

    Early in the year, but am so itchy to get into the garden

      @Sirius Sorry the only Fern i have is called "Lady in Red" don't think she's a rare one thou :scratch:wish i could help :smile: Hope someone comes along to offer you some plants :fingers crossed:

          I only have the usual suspects in my garden: Shield, Cyrtomium falcatum Japanese Holly Fern, Dryopteris filix-mas, Osmunda Cinnamomea & Asplenium scolopendrium. I'm sure you already have these?

            Beehappy - I ordered a few ferns from Bowdens. Not cheap, but it was a few rare species

            JWK - thanks for the offer. Yes, I have those already.

            I joined the Fern society, and have given growing from spore a go. With mixed results. Got about a 40% germination rate. All at the prothallus stage. No plantlets yet
