    Hello All,

I have a major problem with a weeping fig plant. (Ficus Benjamina) I keep it in my bedroom, which is rather dull as it's north facing.

The leaves keep going yellow and droping off. There's hardly any leaves left on the plant.
I've only had the plant about 2 months.

I've tried hardly watering it, so that the soil is almost constantly dry.

I've gone to the opposite end of the spectrum, by keeping the soil moist and giving it a feed.

    All to no avail. :-(

Can someone give me some advice were I'm going wrong.

    Joe

Is it the plain green or the vaiegated?

I have the variegated on a sunny windowsill and it does fine, so could be the light levels

Ficus benjam.need good light,as Steve sais, specially ,if it's the variegated type and moderate watering, not spasmodic.....over or underwatering. It also enjoys a spray now and again, if it's in a dry athmosphere
