    Can anyone help me identify this grass? It's quite distinctive with it's black and yellow heads, but I haven't found anything matching online.

      Thanks. It's ok actually, I bumped into an ecologist last night and now I know. It's not a grass at all but a wood-rush - Field Woodrush Luzula campestris.
