Figs

    Hi All,

    Anyone had any luck with figs? there's an offer in this month's gardens monthly for a couple of free plants (just pay p&p) now i am a sucker for a freebie and also love figs but didn't want to waste my time & p & p money if people don't rate them.....

    Any tips would be greatfully recieved!!!!

    My opinion is that they need a South facing sheltered wall

    Will it be ok in a pot til we get sorted with our new place?

    Absolutely! I've got one in a pot that has been waiting four years already for me to find place for it :). Even though it is rather neglected I still get 3 or 4 figs a year from it
