This year as well as the little finger-nail size figs for this years' crop I have about 2 dozen fruit which have survived the winter unfrosted and are growing fast- they are now conker sized. We had several frosts over winter but none lasted very long although we did have one of -10c.:D
Have any other fig growers noticed this?

    Hi,

We have got a fig tree in our front garden and i was just wondering if you could give me some advice. The tree was there when we bought the house last august and has grown a fair bit.. can you tell me if i should be pruning it back and when and how is the best way to do it.. . We have got some new fruit on the tree at the min and they are about the same size as yours.. not sure if this is good or bad for this time of year?
