    'Margaret Merril'? 'Margaret's Smile'? 'Margaret Mae'? Just a few suggestions to kick off with, @Jacquiscrap

      Margaret Merrill looks lovely and says it is perfect for a pot which is good for me, unfortunately nowhere seems to be selling it at the moment.

        Have you checked David Austen, @Jacquiscrap ? They currently have 'Margaret Merrill' in stock.

        Unfortunately not on the French site Tinkerton. One of the disadvantages of Brexit is that I can no longer order plants from the UK.

        @Jacquiscrap

        Hello.. you might be interested in 'Margaret Dickson', which when sold in UK was simply known as 'Margaret'. It's sold by Loubert's in France, ... it's a lovely rose, bred by Alex Dickson, a well known Northern Ireland rose breeder, from the 1950's and named for his daughter Margaret.
        Alex's grandson Colin Dickson, breeder of a large number of fabulous roses, recently retired.

            Thanks ladies. Still no luck with the Margaret Merrill, out of stock. I’ll do some research on the Margaret Dickson.

              MM is one of my favourites. I can actually smell it too. Wonderful scent. I hope you find it.

                Meilland have a rose called Margaret Mae if that's of any use.

                This is a Dutch nursery, but they send roses to France as far as l can see.
