If there is a law Woo, you can bet it wont make any difference.

Fireworks are out of control in general, I think.

They never stop near us if people have a birthday they set them off, you can step outside any saturday night of the year and you will hear a firewok going off somewhere.

Hi Everyone I went for my little walk last night and found out that It was a 21rst Birthday Party so what could I do but have a drink and wished them all the Best,It was one of them rare moments when I decided that Discretion was the Better Part of Valour:D:) But I have since discovered that Dawali Is a Very Important Indian Festival and it runs for a week starting
on the 28th of October this Year (and thats a 1am Legal).:thumb::)

    Hi Woo,
I hope Gypsy is more settled today, my Holly absolutely hates them, she starts shaking, panting and digging at the carpet for Australia, i've tried her on the herbal sedatives from petsmart and the like at bonfire and hogmanay time and they do work to a certain extent, but it's when these random ones go off it's too late to give her anything.

P.S. Hope you enjoyed the drink! :D

Hello all, woo et al I know exactly what you mean. Joyce blooming hates them. As she's got older she is getting worse, shaking etc just like your Holly, Ruby - I loved the part about digging for Australia although it's not nice when it's your pet doing it because they're scared. Joyce does it to any mat here then must decide it's no good cos off she goes trying to get in a space designed for a mouse! I hate it too when it's too early and it frightens anyone. I like looking at fireworks, don't get me wrong but they are just too much these days.

Woo, I hope Gypsy is OK and doesn't suffer too much this year. I think this year we may well give Joyce something to calm her, cos it looks like she'll have a heart attack sometimes. Let me know if you find anything that works without hurting the elerly pets.

    cheers
