Last February I noticed a poor dying streptocarpus at my brother-in-law's house so I stole a leaf and made leaf cuttings.

I have 10 plants now, and the first one flowered today.

My dad used to grow these- I'd forgotten how pretty they are. What is the Black panther like?
    Are leaf cuttings hard, Rich?

Liz. I can do it so it can't be hard.

Just cut out the spine of the leaf and plant the two halves in the well drained compost with most of the leaf sticking out. The babies form in a short while.
