[IMG] Nice one elaine, look very tasty... [IMG]
[IMG] No herb, horseradish sauce is made from the root of the horseradish plant. It grows wild all over the place around this area. We grate the root to make the sauce, every year we gather a few roots for the flavour. they keep quite well.... [IMG]

Nice one Elaine - enjoy the eating.

By the way - is there a problem with your camera or with my eyes, cos the picture appears blurred. Prolly my eyes :D

They look great Elaine. We've never tried long radishes. Did you grow them in a GH or outdoors?
This year I sowed 'Saxa' ( because I spotted a packet in Lidl at a very cheap price) which is a smallish globe radish and it is by far the nicest sweetest one I've grown. Only takes about 4 weeks from sowing to harvest. In another week I'll be sowing our third two foot row.

i did start them in the gh then planted them out.i only did about 20 and have done the same again.was told to harvest straight away cos they go woody if left in the ground.they dont take long, seemed like one day nothing then there they were. [IMG]
