    A team effort today when our grand-daughter helped lift the first of our autumn king carrots.

      I really miss the days before my daughter became a stroppy teenager and would delight in pulling carrots, lifting onions, digging spuds, etc. and would then proudly ride back home in the wheelbarrow with them (OK she might have been a bit less than a teenager for that last bit).
