Marmite has increased in price allegedly due to Brexit but according to the boss of Typhoo the price of teabags are set to increase as well. He reckons the cost of importing loose tea has increased by 50% so costs will have to be passed on to the customer.

I wonder if Typhoo are going to get the same "assurances" as Nissan seeing as they employ 300 staff in Wigan? Anyway I prefer Twinings tea myself! :snork:

This is just the start as it has been stated in the Daily Wail that food prices are set to rise over the coming years since Bexit. The fuel prices(car and home)are unready on the up.Thank the lord we still have our thirty pole allotment:biggrin:

      I like Earl Grey myself:snorky:

Birdseye including fish fingers and Walkers crisps are now putting their prices up 12% thanks to Brexit. Good job I'm going to be growing more stuff to eat! :snork:

                    What a bunch of robbing *%$£$£$£" !

Potatoes are grown here so need for a price increase, and the last time I looked we were surrounded by fish. Fair enough westminster and europe almost crippled the British fleet but we still source our fish from the surrounding seas.
(unless birdseye are using the grim vietnamese farmed fish).
