    Nah, not at all :)

I made a silly request and you complied, I thought it was nice of you.

And your beans ARE very pretty.

    Smashing stuff.

Been picking my welsh beans all week, but much later than last year.

    Today's crop.

Had to wipe the blackfly off some of them before taking photo :(. We're still inundated with the worst infestation of blackfly I have ever had (probably said that in other years as well :hehe:). The ladybirds are only just arriving :thmb:. Come on girls - get a move on and get your munchers into those BF.

    Nice crop, Shiney!

Yours look considerably better than mine. I seem to have got more short curved beans this year, like little green horseshoes. They taste as good as the long straight ones though.

    Hi Flinty,

They sometimes go like that if the are lacking water or if there have been some strong winds.

Although I always thought that beans and wind went together. :hehe:

Whoa, smashing crop there Shiney, been salting mine down as have run out of freezer space, what with all the smoked mackerellfish. Next problem will be the tomatoes, will have to build another solar drier I guess.

Oh yeah, checked the Welsh beans on the west bay plot today, not a sign of blackfly, ladybirds have had the lot:gnthb:

    ziggy,

I hope my ladybirds learn from yours :gnthb:

We don't have to bother about freezing, salting, bottling etc. We sell all our spare produce for our charity. We have enough customers to sell more than £100 per week if I had the produce.
