The Blackbirds are very hungry at the moment with lots of fledglings to feed.

Been out and checked - I have flowers and green looking strawberries (small) - nothing resembling red though. I am up on the North East coast. Suppose to be minus 2 tonight. Better get the garden fleece out of the garage and cover everything up. ❄

Looking good there. Closest ours are are just a few flowers that look like they may or may not come out. Few more sunny days and we're golden.

Yep - off on Thursday. Netting is a priority. Blueberries also coming on nicely. Mr Blackbird is currently otherwise engaged with eating my grass seeds to not notice the berries. Can see me and him falling out!!!!!

Just flowers on one plant here too. A couple of others look like they're about to flower and a couple of youngsters who just want to produce new leaves at the moment.

Here's ours! Most of the strawberries are salvaged from runners that set up camp on top of suppressants. IMG_20150428_130721.jpg IMG_20150428_130740.jpg
