First year of my shrubbery.

    A year ago this was just rough grass then mid-July our garden contractor came in with his rotovator and turned it all over for us. We then started planting shrubs and bulbs and this spring more shrubs, perennials and some annuals. Half the stuff we cannot even remember what it is. We will have to wait until it flowers

      There's a great phase with shrubberies 2-3 years in IMO, when things really find their feet and start establishing! Excited to see how yours develops. You've done well to plant lots of shrubs, it's very wise as they form the 'skeleton' of one's garden... :)

          It is at that awkward stage at the moment. The Tulips and Daffodils are past and their leaves just make things look untidy. The Alliums are starting to flower but not a lot else is doing anything.
