fish at work

our factory lodge that is heated all year round has some massive fish in 15lb -20lb they even burn there noses they love the steam pipes that much:thumb:

 

sorry the pics are a bit poor but its hard to get a good shot with all the steam about, these were taken at 4am on night shift

There used to be a place called the "hotties" in St Helens it was a stretch of water that used to get the waste water from pilkintons glass works the water was about 80f and some pet shop owner dumped is tropical fish in there when he went out of buisness,the fish thrived and I spent many a saturday there netting fish, female guppies 3" long, mollies and platys some anglers used to catch chiclids that had grown to proportions not seen in a fish tank.

 

OMG..what if he had dumped his piranahs in there?:eek:
That would have made interesting reading in the national newspapers.

dont know much about the price of fish apart from the chippy is gettin expensive but some of these must be worth a few bob....hel would love to get my fishing rod out think ill ask the gaffer
