      @noisette47 A flash mob is a group of people who give a surprise choreographed performance in a public space. It's usually done for publicity but, nowadays, sometimes just for fun.

      It started sixteen years ago and has been popular ever since.

      This is a very good example that @Dave W posted seven years ago.
