Our resident blackbirds 3rd brood this year are hopping all over our garden, and one of them is smaller than the other two and demanding food from the other two. One of the larger fledglings is responding and collects worms and to feed the smaller one that follows it around.

I've never noticed anything like this happening before. I guess the parents are too busy feeding their fourth brood, but haven't spotted where their latest nest is as they're making a new nest for each new brood.

And that squawking youngster has even stood outside our chicken run and asked the hens for food!
