My Petunia's seem "floppy" or maybe this is what is meant by "leggy" seedlings? This is the first time I have really grown anything from seed... should I have taken some leaves off of them? Do they look normal?

    Thanks!

Gilly - they will do fine. Mine do just that. With the floppy ones I would be inclined to add some more compost, which will support them. But don't actually bury any leaves or they will rot and could cause the whole plant to rot.

The sooner you can get them into a green house or a cold frame or just outside during the day, the better. Overhead light will make them grow up straight.

    Hi Peter,

Thanks for answering all of my questions!!! :D

So it's okay to put them in the mini-greenhouse now? I suppose they must be strong enough. I will take on the tip about more compost and add some this weeknd. At least they look normal! *phew*
