A very pale purple, almost white flower. Notice that the leaves are very thin (but they're not sharp). Really nice looking flower, even the buds look nice.

I have quite a number of these growing at one edge of my lawn - every year I avoid mowing them, instead letting them go to seed (which is why they're increased in number over the past few years). Only once they have seeded will I mow that area of the lawn.

No idea what they are called though! Anyone got any ideas please?

Hello, it looks like Cardamine pratensis, aka Lady's Smock or Cuckoo flower :)

It's a native wild flower, they grow everywhere around here except in my garden. I wish they'd seed themselves into my garden.
Ah I see you live in south west Wales, I also live in south west Wales. Have you seen them growing wild ?

Yes, I think I have seen them growing wild but sadly I forget where!

Have you tried sowing some seeds in your garden? Apparently they like moist, slightly shaded areas and they thrive in my garden where there's less sun and slightly less so in the areas that get more sun. As for moisture, no shortage of that around here!

It's cousin, Hairy Bitter Cress is NOT a problem to grow, trust me  If you can't find a wild source,Michael, Chiltern Seeds sell it (Cardamine p., not HBC):)

I haven't tried the seeds, never thought of doing that but I may this year now.
Plenty of moisture here too !

Thanks @noisette47 there's loads of it around here so I'll collect some seeds.
