          @Michael Hewett, Well I always love going to garden centres but since being on GC..there's been some eye opening plants on here :yes:...this ones really eye catching because of it's unusual shaping...very nice :)

            I am still spending my down time wandering around garden centres. The main thing that I've discovered is that its not so much fun when its cold. I have been trying to see what if anything looks good at this time of year. I have yet to find anything that jumps out at me.

              @Jack Sparrow I've been in the winter time and there's not much put out, it's like looking at cast off's on some plants, that have lacked water but when summers here the beauty some garden centre's put out well your lost for choice.:)

              That is when seed catalogues come into their own ;) Many a gardener spends this time of year browsing the seed catalogues and planting next seasons planting. Or, go to your local library (while they still exist) and borrow some gardening books. At least these two ways you can "browse" to your hearts content plus learn what is in season and when :thumbsup:

                Come spring i'll soon be up the garden centres taking a browse plus some nice shots on display :blue thumb: plus i'll escape my hermit life :snorky:

                        I have this in flower just now. Other than the fact it a white flower on a cactus, I haven't a clue what it is...:whistle::heehee:

                              Jack you can buy winter Pansies now. Which in my book lie there looking a bit sad through winter , then burst into life early spring.
