We have watercress growing in a large container. We kept it going from last year by taking off pieces with roots and replanting them in fresh compost. It's now starting to flower, and we're wondering whether we should remove the flowers to keep it producing leaves for picking?

Chop it right back , you'll not stop it flowering if it wants to, and it will go tough... it will grow back quickly.

Pick off any usable leaves and make watercress soup !
