Hardy geranium wargrave pink is good for shade, it gets very little sun in my garden or the previous one and is smothered in flowers most of the summer. It gets to about 2 feet high if you tie it up otherwise it just spreads.

I have recently bought a planting plan off the website below, it gives you a plan of where to place the plants included, and if i remember rightly, you can choose which colours you like and if your border is in shade, semi shade or sun.

    http://www.applegategardens.co.uk/acatalog/planting_plans.html

It was only 8 pounds and saved a lot of time researching all the gardening magazines

    hope this helps,

    Lionel
