Flying gone crazy

My son has booked a flight this evening from the island to Gatwick airport with Flybe. Not only the cost of the flight and all the additional charges are enough, but they've charged an extra fee for the seats aswell.

I wonder what they would do if he asked to sit on the floor of the hold with all the luggage instead. It's ludicrous!

 

Ryanair was considering having the passengers standing up and pay a cheaper fare, and I couldn't believe my eyes when I read it.

I don't know whether they eventually decided to go ahead with the plan...

 

LOL!!! people will be riding on the wing next........... wonder what extra charge they will have for THAT?

I think it's appalling the way people are squashed into cramped seating on planes - you wouldn't treat animals like that! As for cheap airlines who charge extra for everything...... you even have to pay for using a credit or debit card, as if you have a choice when booking online. Disgusting!

 

Your right Tiarella. I wonder, when cheque books are discontinued will everybody be ripping us off when we pay with plastic. Probably!
