Flying insect but what?

    The strange wings of this caught my attention - I've never seen wings this shape before. Lousy pic I'm afraid as it was in a difficult position to photograph.
    Can anyone provide me with a name please?

    It looks like something left over from Halloween, Dave :D

    Seriously, I don't know, but I have seen small white moths that shape and they were in great numbers. Can't remember the name though. Sorry.

    Yes, that's the one I was thinking of, strongy, but the word "feather" kept coming to mind.
