    Wow, capney, I'm impressed.

My father was a pilot (WW2 plus commercially licensed) and I've flown planes twice, a twin-engined Cessna and a Cherokee Piper .... but that was long, long, long ago in my late teens. :D A massive HIGH ..... I regressed to sports cars and speed boats .....

By the way, nice to meet you. :thumb:

    Hi Capney-

I take your subtle meaning-you mean to fly in-grab that cake and fly out quick before anyone spots you entering or leaving our air space.

Ok. I have to own up..
My flight in the B737 was in a full size simulator!
Had you going there for a moment or two..
It was a birthday gift from her indoors and it was really good.
Took off several times. had engine failure on takeoff.
Single engine landing. and landing in zero vis..
    Got it down everytime.
I should add I have piloted (for real) a twin engined transport across the south china sea..
Passengers were very grateful and applauded my efforts.
I also spend hours on my PC flight simulator flying all types to everwhere.
    Very realistic.
I have flown around the world in real time in a Beech Baron. And from North pole to South pole and return (Round the world pole to pole)
it has taken a bit of a back seat recently due to the garden interest and chatting to you lot on this forum.
    Happy days.
    Robert

I did have a slight suspicion Robert. The view from the window was a bit odd and your headset was missing.
I had a PC flight sim in the past but gave up on it as I kept bending metal. Have you got one with controls that give you 'feel' feedback?

Loads of clues in the picture.
Look at the windows. (you cannot see the monitors giving the outside view )
I have no seatbelt on (there is no seatbelt)
    I have no uniform on.
This particular simulator has now been updated to a later version.
    Must visit again some time.
I use my desk top 3.2Ghz +for flight sim and my 19" monitor with force feed back joystick.
    External speakers with a woofer.
It all works for me a real treat.

I flew once in a small airplane with a friend in Sweden. I just couldn't stop trembling from start to finish (flight lenght just over half an hour), no matter what he would say in the headphones to make me more relaxed...!!
Flying doesn't come natural to me , I am afraid...
