    Hi all,

I have cleared my raised bed that had legumes in this year. Is there anything I can put in now to over winter that will be harvested by May time so I can get it ready for my brassicas? I have my brassicas to overwinter in another bed at the moment.

It's probably not too late to sow some 'Arctic King' lettuce, especially if you can start them off under cover and plant them out in a few weeks time. They seem to germinate faster than other lettuce varieties and are extremely hardy.

They should be ready for harvesting by late March or April depending on the winter.
