I'm too embarrassed to show you a picture:doh:

It goes like this see. There is a wild rose in my back garden which is very nasty, and keeps trying to sneak into the lad's willow den, so I gave it a good seeing to with Round Up. A proper drenching, and some of the Round Up ran off onto the ground at the foot of the rose. No problem. Then I guess I walked a couple of steps to get it again from another angle. Then the lad came out and collected me with an idea to build something, so we trampled all over the lawn building a den out of bamboo and an old sheet. That was a couple of days ago. Now there are brown footprints all over the lawn.

That's a shame but looking on the bright side did the den turn out OK? But at least you were being a good Dad - dropping everything to give attention to your son! I commend that!

I freely admit that I have done almost exactly the same thing. Sprayed the cobbled path with Pathclear and then walked on the lawn. Takes ages for that stuff to disappear. Kills the grass better than it does the weeds on the path.
Note to oneself, written on the sprayer."Walk Backwards dummy"

I know a farmer, that in a rush he didn't emtpy his sprayer out or make a note what is in it (round up) his worker than had to go and spray one field of maize (30 acres), thought that farmer had filled the sprayer up ready to go, went and sprayed the field,in a week farmer was having a reel good go at his worker :paladin: the air was blue with nasty words,i went out of the way and waited till they cooled down a bit :phew:
