There is a down side though, 'Iron' Cross' is still looking very pathetic. I've moved it to a brighter window sill to see if it will cheer up.

 

I've planted up a couple recently too Sheal. I'll take a piccie tomorrow so we can compare notes. My specimen, planted up on 18/2 2013, is a spronky,leggy ,floppy thing that would collapse outside in a breeze let alone a wind. The 2 in the GH look happier,

Hi jenny , the iron Cross you kindly sent me have germinated and just about to come into leaf Hope they look as good as the pic above.
Will they be OK planted near a fountain , the soil can get a bit wet.

 

They prefer damp and shady to hot,sunny and dry Harry

They look lovely Jenny. Mine has only got a few shoots and they are about 9 inches tall, very gangly compared to 'Cupido'. I'll see how it goes now I've moved it.
