Nice thought Scotkat and a lovely fuchia I always think when a couple pass away within a short time of each other it's because of a broken heart it happens too often for it to be a coincidence

When your cuttings are ready for posting, I would be more than happy to buy one of you for your fundraising.

My Mum had Alzheimer's too - she died 2 years ago. Same as Sally, I'd be only too glad to do the same as her. I'll PM you my address.

All three of us got Mum had Alzheimers my Mum passed away 1st March of this yr and dad 11thfeb.

I really did not grieve 9yr ago as Mum was still ther but by that time in care as we could no longer look after her as Mum was my dads carer as he had taken a stroke before her illness.

Then I took over my Mums roll,I like to keep in touch with dementai support group.

Only to happy to pass on the Forget-me-not fuchsias.

I help to grow the plants along its the support group that I shall ask about costs.

We are attending a stovie dance fundraiser on Friday night funds for Macmillan nurses and Alzeheimer's.Thankyou Sally and Dendrobium.

Depends how bad a winter it is going to be.

Although I have unheated greenhouses with bubblewrap lost all my fuchsias last winter.

Except my container of th enamed fuchsia forget-me-not which I grow an nurture for our local hospital garden.

This year she is now in my conservatory growing merrily for cuttings.

Think I will not take the chance and put her back in greenhouse shall keep in doors and jus tspray her to kee p her ticking over.

Although fuchsias tend to like a rest period.
