    No, not four candles !

My trusty old fork with the wooden handle finally gave up the ghost yesterday and snapped mid shaft. Now, i know there are a plethora of new forks available but being the sentimental old boy that ive turned out to be, i would like to replace the handle on the one i have got. I can remember this being done by the good old hardware store, but with the demise of such establishments, i don't have a clue where to get this done anymore.

Can anyone advise me here ?

    Thanks.

A good Blacksmith would do it. We are lucky to have one in a nearby Village and the things he turns his hands to is a wonder to see.
