Formium advice please

Hello. Here's snap of my formium. Was pleasantly surprised it flowered this year after nothing for years. Should the flower stalk bit now be lopped off or left. And any comments on how to look after it generally, are very welcome. Thanks

 

If you dont want seed you can cut down the flowering stem on your phormium at any time.

It will tidy it up for winter.
