Last year, a random plant was found growing in one of my fence pots. I felt mean killing it so took it out and out it in its own pot over the winter. Since the spring it has started growing quite vigorously. No flowers (yet) but the leaves are very soft. Any ideas? Thanks

It is a Salix. Maybe Salix caprea.....a weedy willow.
    A gift from the birds!

Oh... it’s a tree I was hoping it was a nice flowering small shrub. I’ll take it to work and plant it in the school grounds... wonder how big it will be in ten years, when I retire??? Ha ha
      Thank you so much
