Found this Poppy in my garden...

    Any idea what type of Poppy this is? Moved into my new house and the grass was mega long. Mowed it down and this was hiding among it :) WP_000050.jpg

        As Scrungee says an opium poppy aka Papaver. :)

            Papaver somniferum. Fabulous thing. You can collect the seeds and put them on bread when you're baking. Scatter them around and you'll get loads more next year.

                Cheers guys :) How and when do I collect the seeds? Would be cool to grow them again next year :D

                When the flower finishes the seed pod will remain, it is large and round, let it mature the seeds inside, then collect into a paper envelope when it turns brown. If when you collect the pod the weather is wet, leave the seeds somewhere warm and dry to dry out completely.
