Balls, Alfie.:D Mothballs, that is. Remove the hills with a spade, then put a mothball in each run. Everty time a new hill appears, repeat until it stops. Moles hate the smell of camphor, so it shouldn`t take long to drive it away.

    :):):)

Don't whatever you do buy those sonic deterant thingys, my sister had one or two molehills in her new lawn, bought one of them and it just attracted a whole lot more into the garden.

A friend tried one of those contraptions too. The moles dug it off the ground and went on with their business, lol.

    Hi JWK & IVORY
Thanks for the advice I know someone that had one of these and all that happened was that the moles moved to the other end of his garden and when he moved it they just moved back again.

    Cheers

OMG! I hope you only have the one, Anakat, and not a whole family of them. I think you'll have to put a trap out for it, don't think the mothball trick will work here.

I'll tell the kids about the mothballs, David, they have a problem every year with the little furry critters.

    Hi Anakat
Yes it could be a lot worse lol. A few years ago we had a family of badgers that visited our garden most nights, we used to put out peanuts for them to eat. We never tried to tame them as we know what some people do to them. Unfortunatley they no longer come since they felled some of the nearby woods. As one of my interests is photography I made an imitation sett in front of the living room window so that I could take some photos, this is one of the best ones I got. Just out of sight under his nose is a pile of peanuts.
